I cut a piece of watercolour cardstock using the Coffee Cup die by MFT. I then coloured the cover of the coffee cup using Hickory Smoke Distress Ink and a mini ink blending tool. After that, I coloured the sleeve using Tea Dye and Vintage Photo Distress Inks along with a blending tool. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Instawreath Stamp set by Maymay Made It on it using VersaFine Onyx Black ink. Blog DT Project | Winter Forest Gingerbread House

For this project, I decided to create a nighttime scene in a snowy forest. I used my blending tool and Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Blueprint Sketch) to transform white cardstock into a deep shade of blue. Both the Ginger Fred and Vinnie's Fav Stamp Sets were perfect for making my winter scene. Inlay Embossing Let's make a big 'ol mess in the craft room today!! Using supplies that you probably already have, this tecnique is a must try for sure. For this weeks project, I made a card using the Fall Leaves Stamp Set by Joy Clair. I started by placing all the different leaf stamps on my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform. Then I ink them with Barn Door, Mustard seed and Ripe Persimmon Distress Inks, sprayed water on them using my Tim Holtz Distress Sprayer to help blend the colours. I then stamped them on an A2 watercolour card stock. After stamping the leaves, I splattered Black Soot and Vintage Photo Distress Inks. Spot Light Card  This black and white to color card, is basically coloring images within a shape with bright colors, and then leaving the images outside the shape a neutral color.
