Layer It Up Challenge Holiday Card

I love layering cards! It just gives so much dimension and really makes the card pop. You can always find something to add layers to whether it's the sentiment or the image. For this card I decided to do 3 layers using the teapot as the focal point. One of my favorite crafty items is mounting tape.  The BEST part is that you can do the layering technique with just about any stamp set. I hope you give it a try. IG DT "Shaker Challenge" Created by Maranda Mathis

Today's card is for the Maymay Made It design team challenge... and it's all about shaker cards!! I began with a 4.25 x 5.5" card base. I made a smaller striped panel using masking tape and Distress Ink. I die cut a circle in the striped panel. IG DT Place Card Challenge created by Maranda Mathis

My project today is for the "Place Card" challenge. I began with 4x4" craft cardstock folded in half to form my Thanksgiving place cards. I used quilling strips and paper quilled a design on the front of each place card. I added the name and some bling, along with a cluster of pumpkins from the Maymay Made It stamp set called "Memory Lane". I finished off the top with some baker's twine. I hope you enjoyed today's project and give it a try yourself! -MarandaSupplies:Kraft cardstockPaper Quilling StripsQuilling ToolFine tip glue applicatorMMI Memory Lane Stamp set Memento Tuxedo Black InkUniball...

Fall Flower Card and Color Challenge

I used the Happy Fall Y'all Stamp Set to create this bright and cheerful card. I used The base of the wagon was perfect for creating a wooden flower box. I cut away the wheels to make a fun border across the top of the cards. I love when I have the opportunity to use stamps in a different way. I mounted the flowers to give them dimension. Other enhancements included using my Uniball Signo Gel Pens to decorate the outside borders of the cards and add stitching. The icing on the cake was adding a little dimension and color...

IG DT Project Created by Maranda Mathis

This is an A2 (4.25 x 5.5") top-folding card turned on it's side. I left a bit of a black border around the focal image/sentiment to help balance the various contrasting colors on the card. I used MMI Friendly Faces stamp set for the sunshine. The mountains are made with the moon stamp in the set by using a masking technique. I colored them in with Copic markers. The sentiment is from MMI Big Time Sayings stamp set. -Maranda     Supplies: Cardstock MMI Friendly Faces stamp setMMI Big Time Sayings stamp setCutter Bee ScissorsScotch Foam TapeAdhesive Recommend Art Glitter...
