This card was totally inspired by Maymay’s door panel in her Fall Album. When I saw her make her fall door I thought it would make a great Christmas Card. I decided to have only four panels on my door and I scored the inside panels to make my door look a little fancy. I also popped up my inside panels to add dimension. For this weeks project, I made a card using the Fall Leaves Stamp Set by Joy Clair. I started by placing all the different leaf stamps on my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform. Then I ink them with Barn Door, Mustard seed and Ripe Persimmon Distress Inks, sprayed water on them using my Tim Holtz Distress Sprayer to help blend the colours. I then stamped them on an A2 watercolour card stock. After stamping the leaves, I splattered Black Soot and Vintage Photo Distress Inks. Today's card is for the Maymay Made It design team challenge... and it's all about shaker cards!! I began with a 4.25 x 5.5" card base. I made a smaller striped panel using masking tape and Distress Ink. I die cut a circle in the striped panel. For my shaker window, I used a clear overhead projector transparency sheet and adhered it on the backside of the panel. Then, I sealed around the shaker window with foam tape to pop it up.
