Bee Yourself Card | Layer It Up Challenge
Posted by Tracey Phillips on
The Bee's Knees Stamp Set is perfect for creating cards for many different occasions. The fun and uplifting sentiments are sure to put a smile on someone's face. I decided to use the 2" scallop punch for the sentiment and the bee, adding another layer to the card. The honeycomb stamp is a great way to create a bright and cheery background. I used Tombow Dual Brush Pens to create tiny red dots and circled them with a black gel pen to enhance the background. CLICK HERE to see the full tutorial. Here's what you'll need! For this week’s project, I made a winter themed card using the Memory Lane and Vinnie's Fav Stamp set by Maymay Made It. First, I stamped the truck from the Memory Lane Stamp Set using Memento Black ink on Neenah Solar white 80lb cardstock. Next, I fussy cut the image using my cutter bee scissors. Then I coloured it using my Copic markers. I cut a piece of Neenah Solar white 110lb cardstock to 3 1/4 * 4 1/2 inches. Then I used a masking sheet and masked the lower part of the paper and coloured the sky using Cracked...

I wanted to go for a mixed media look on this Christmas card. Just using what I have in my stash, I think it turned out cute. Merry Christmas! 🎄 This was a simple design using different elements. I used Maymay's Snow Doubt stamp set & fussy cut my snowman & sentiment. I used foam squares to give them dimension. I used different patterns to create interest & layers. I also used black pearls, glittery pens, & a foam sticker for texture. This was fairly quick aside from fussy cutting Mr Snowman. I think it was worth it though. Merry...

Just for You Gift Tag | Layer It Up Challenge
Posted by Tracey Phillips on
For this month's Layer It Up Challenge, I decided to make these adorable tags using the Tag Builder and Sunflower Wishes Stamp Sets. Creating gift tags are one of my favorite paper crafting activities. I used my Tombow Dual Brush Pens to add color. I also added a bold black border around the tag and the flowers to tie everything together. There are so many ways to layer this tag starting with the sunflower and the sentiment. Just adding a few mounting stickers under each flower and sentiment gives it dimension. I also added a layer to the center of...

First, I placed the bell image from the Sleighrides Stamp Set by Maymay Made It on my Stamp Platform and stamped it on an A2 cardstock using Gina K Black Amalgam ink. Then I stamped the bell image on a masking sheet, fussy cut it using cutter bee scissors and masked the image. After that, I stamped the image on either side. I then stamped the sentiment and the gift box image using the same ink. Next, I used my Copic Markers to colour the stamped images. As a final step, I stuck this panel on a white A2 top...
