I used Tombow Dual Brush Pens to create tiny red dots and circled them with a black gel pen to enhance the background. CLICK HERE to see the full tutorial. Here's what you'll need! Both the Ginger Fred and Vinnie's Fav Stamp Sets were perfect for making my winter scene. With the second card, I used more distress ink to get a deeper shade of blue. The snow-capped gingerbread house was colored using Tombow Dual Brush Pens in brown and red.  Click Here for full tutorial! ***Supplies Used*** Ginger Fred Stamp Set Vinnie's Fav Stamp Set Card Base -...

Blog DT Challenge | Emboss Like a Boss

Creating this card was definitely outside of my comfort zone, but I absolutely loved learning something new. I used the eraser of a pencil to make the polka dot pattern. It looks great against the navy blue cardstock. I see why so many paper crafters love heat embossing.  I decided to emboss using VersaMark Ink, Nuvo Embossing Powder, and my heating tool.  Thanks to a few tips from my crafty friends I was able to create these lovely cards.  CLICK HERE for the tutorial!  ***Supplies Used*** VersaMark Ink  Nuvo Fine Detail Embossing Powder - Gold Thankful Grateful Blessed Stamp Set ...
