Wild About You Box

Hi Everyone Happy Wednesday To You!

Today we are creating a really cute box that is great for a number of things!

This box measures 2 x 3. The best part is that you can make two of these from one sheet of 8.5 x 11 cardstock. Great for mass production!

Here is what I used:

Cardstock

Black cardstock for box: 4 x 9
White cardstock: 2 at 2.75 x 1.75
White cardstock: 2.75 x .75
White cardstock: 1.75 x .75

Trixies Valentine Stamp

Art Glitter Glue

Cricut Trimmer

Black Ink

Red Ink

Bone Folder

.75 Circle Punch

Spectrum Noir Marker (sandstone)

Here is what I did:

For the box base, score on the 4 inch side at 1 and 3. On the 9 inch side, score at 1, 4, 5 and 8. Cut on score marks to create tabs. Apply glue to center tabs first and adhere to one of the sides. Set aside.

Using the black ink, stamp the paw prints all over the smaller white pieces. These will be for the front, back and sides of box. Stamp the dog image with black ink on one of the larger white cardstock pieces. Color in with the marker. Stamp the greeting above the dog. Using red ink, stamp some hearts around the dog and greeting.

Using red ink, stamp the hearts on the other large white pieces. Adhere the side pieces on the box as well as the front and back. Create a notch using the circle punch on the front tab of the box. Adhere the tabs to the sides. Place the piece with the dog on the front and the piece with the hearts on the inside of the box.
