Leaf Quilt Card using Perfect Pearls

F

Today we are creating a stunning quilt card! This reminds me of those cold fall evenings snuggling in a comfy quilt and watching a great old classic movie. Join us today in making this fun fall leaf quilt card. So gather up those supplies and let's create!

Measurements:

We started with a card base that measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2

Cut 4 pieces of cardstock/patterned  to 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 .....these pieces of cardstock or patterned paper are for the quilt background and inside frame pieces

1~ piece of dark brown cardstock cut to 4 1/2 x 4 1/2. This is for the leaf that is the center of the quilt. Take this piece and apply Versamark ink and then use the Perfect pearls to create a calico material effect. To set Perfect Pearls mist the cardstock lightly with water, next cut out the leaf with the quilt die

*** TIP: use Press n Seal to the back of the die after cutting to hold you leaf pieces together for easier application to the card***

Next glue the green frame to a piece of cardstock measuring 4 1/2 x 4 1/2, you may need to trim it down some. Next, you are going to add the pieces to the frame.

Once you have the frame all filled in cut 1 piece of patterned paper at 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 to create a mat, then add your ribbon & bow and glue that to the card base, then add your quilt to the base with some foam tape for some added dimension.

The only thing left to do is add your sentiment and message to the inside of the card!
