Maymay Made It — happy hibiscus

I've been wanting to play around with the whole envelope art idea so thought I would practice with this weeks card. Used Maymay's "Happy Hibiscus" for the images and the "Garden Party" set for the card sentiment. Sponged with Distress Oxide inks .   The Happy Hibiscus Stamp is a layering stamp, but on this project I wanted to show how each stamp can be used separately. This was so much fun to color, but you can use colored ink to stamp a solid image as well. My flower card for the IDT Challenge. I'm not a coloring person and seriously not good so I covered up my mistakes with a little distress Ink vintage photo. My shopping list this week is Happy Hibiscus stamps set, colored with markers, all in love set stamped on vellum, all occasion used as inside greeting. Hope you all like it. I created this card using both the "Happy Hibiscus" and the "All About You" stamp sets. Stamped with Versafine "habanero" and "onyx black" inks .. the background designer paper is from the "I'D RATHER BE CRAFTING" paper pad...images were highlighted with Nuvo Crystal Glaze and Nuvo Crystal Drops "buttermilk" The stamped flowers on the vellum were also heat embossed using the Nuvo Clear Embossing powders.
