Sponged Spring Card

Hi Everyone Happy Wednesday To You!

Are you ready for Spring? I was ready about two months ago :) Even though we live in Florida, it was a really cold winter here. So, today we are creating a fun and easy Spring card.

I love the pink and green colors together!

Here is what I used:

Cardstock:

Pink for card base: 8.5 x 5.5 (score at 4.25)
Green: 1 at 4 x 5.25 and 1 at 3 x 4
White: 1 at 3.75 x 5 and 1 at 2.75 x 3.75

Wings Stamp Set

Blessed Inside & Out Stamp Set

Brown Ink

Green Ink

Red/Pink Ink

Foam Tape

Art Glitter Glue

Bone Folder

Cricut Trimmer

Here is how I did it:

Using the trimmer and a bone folder, score the pink cardstock at 4.25, fold in half to create the card base. Using a sponge dauber, make up sponge, or crunched up paper, ink the solid butterfly and the solid dragonfly with the red/pink ink and the mint ink. Stamp on the smaller (2.75 x 3.75) white cardstock. Using the brown ink, stamp the outline of both images on the butterfly and dragonfly. To create trails of flight, use a marker. Set aside.

Using the same brown ink, stamp the greeting (When God blessed me with you...) on the bottom right corner of the front of the card base. Glue the green (3 x 4) to front of card at an angle, using the Art Glitter Glue. Place some foam tape on the back of the image piece and place on front of card on top of the green, again on angle.

For the inside of the card, stamp the greeting (He gave me so much to be thankful for) along the center bottom of the (3.75 x 5) white cardstock. Glue to the green piece and glue to the inside of the card.

Hope all of you have a Wonderful Wednesday. Hugs, Stacy ♥
