                                        Blueprint Sketch,

                                        Candied Apple
- Foam Tape
- Art Glitter Glue
- Blue, Yellow, Red Sequins
- Blue, Yellow, Red Cardstock
- Tim Holtz Distress Sponges
- Tim Holtz/Tonic Studio Stamp Platform

Process:

I started by positioning the coffee cup and sleeve into my stamp positioned and stamping them in coordinating inks onto the coordinating cardstock then fussy cut them out. I added the opposite color sleeve and lid to each cup base using foam tape to adhere it. I was sure to ink up the edges of each piece in it’s coordinating ink color. Then the completed cups were glued onto yellow paper and I cut them out leaving a thin border. I set them aside and cut up scraps to layer together in yellow, blue and red and glued them together. I used Fossilized amber yellow Distress Ink to Stamp my sentiments onto yellow cardstock. I didn’t have smooth yellow cardstock but I love the texture of textured cardstock so I was totally fine with using it. It does make it challenging to read in the pictures but in real life it is readable. Once my pieces were ready I built my card. First I glued a yellow layer onto my blue card base. Then a blue piece onto the yellow. Then I added my layered strip onto the lower part of the front panel and the two cups staggered on top. Next I added my sentiment piece and finished with coordinating sequins. For the inside I stamped the single coffe bean up the right side and glued some coordinating sequins onto it. Also stamped the sentiment in the same Fossilized Amber Distress Ink. Then layered the yellow cardstock onto red cardstock and these onto the blue card base.
There you have it! I hope you have been inspired and encouraged to stretch your stamps and skills. Thanks for stopping by the Maymay Made It Blog! Happy crafting Crafty friends!

Inky hugs,
Candace Gillespie
