IG Alumni DT Project Created by Candace Gillespie

CUP CAKE TOPPERS!

Supplies Used:

- MMI Stamp Sets “Beacon”

                               and “Anchored”

- Distress Oxide Inks in Barn Door

                                and Blue Print Sketch

- Art Glitter Glue
- Stitched Ovals- recommend Brutus Monroe

- Stitched Circles-recommend Brutus Monroe

- Blue, Red, and White Cardstock
- Red Twine and Blue Twine
- Tooth Picks

Process:

I started by stamping the anchor and the light house on white cardstock, then die cut them out. Using the next size up in each shape I die cut colored cardstock.

I glued the stamped image to the colored cardstock.

My next step was adding the coordinating twine. For this step I added a small bead of glue around the white cardstock along the edge of it and stuck down the twine. Easy peasy! I tied the bows and also glued them on also using Art Glitter Glue. That stuff is AMAZING!

The final step was to glue the tooth pick to the back. For a double sided topper I’d double the stamped image and colored cardstock and glue them to the back so it becomes double sided.

There you have it! Pretty easy, right! I sure hope you have been inspired and try to make some cupcake toppers for your next party! Thanks for stopping by the Maymay Made It Blog! Happy crafting, crafty friends!

Inky hugs,
Candace Gillespie
