Father's Day Card
Posted by Tracy Dennis on
Hi Y'all,
This is a great last minute card to make. It's nice and simple and quick.
Card on the Right- I stamped the shirt first ( from MMI Ugly Sweater Weather Stamp Set) , then I ran it through my Big Shot a couple of times using the Brutus Monroe embossing folder-Aztec Stars. Then I did the dragging technique using the Memento Danube Blue Ink, then I fussy cut the shirt (I cut off the collar Part). I stamped the sentiment (from MMI Best Dad Stamp Set) on a tag that I die cut from Brutus Monroe Tag Die Set. I popped up both the tag and the shirt using 3D Foam Squares and glued the card front- 4"X 5 1/4" to a card base 4 1/4" X 5 1/2".
Card on the Left- I stamped the shirt using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and stamped the sentiment onto the shirt then I fussy cut it out. Next I embossed the card front then I turned the card front OVER and dragged the ink across the whole piece *** by turning it over it gives it a reverse affect. Finally I glued the front to the base and popped up the shirt.
Supplies:
Ugly Sweater Weather Stamp Set
Brutus Monroe Embossing Folder-Aztech Stars
Wasn't that a fast card?!!! Hope everyone has a wonderful Father's Day.
