Here is how to make this card:
Card Stock:
Card stock base & front mat: 8.5 x 5.5 (score @ 4.25), mat for front 1.75 x 5
White card stock (3 pieces): 1 at 4 x 5.25, 1 at 3.75 x 5 and 1 at 1 5/8 x 4.75
Orange accent color: 1 at 4 x 5.25 and 1 at .75 x at least 3
Assembly:
♥Fold card stock base in half and crease. Layer the orange accent (4 x 5.25) on the front. For the white (3.75 x 5), I used the Cricut leafy branch embossing folder. Layer that on top of the orange.
♥For the dragonflies (I used 3 different colors~orange, yellow and mint). Stamp them onto the white (1 5/8 x 4.75) card stock in different directions. Stamp the detailed dragonfly using a black ink on top of the colored dragonflies.
♥Layer the stamped white piece on to the (1.75 x 5) card stock color, same as the base of card. Adhere this to the white layer toward the left, leaving some white showing on the left side.
♥Stamp the greeting on to the orange accent (.75 x 3). Flag each end. Adhere to front of card using pop dots.
♥For the inside of the card, use a sponge dauber with the same 3 ink colors and sponge on bottom of the white (4 x 5.25) card stock. I also stamped the detailed dragonfly with black ink on the bottom right hand corner. Adhere this piece to the inside of the card.
Wala! You just created a gorgeous dragonfly card.

Another awesome card. You are so talented… I’m having a hard time picking what color goes with what color (when making a card). Do you have any suggestions on how do I pick colors that go together? Thanks for sharing
