Spring Dress and Bib Overalls Cards by: Crystal Cleveland

 Easter Bib Overalls

Spring is that time when you go shopping to get new clothes for your kids. Shedding off all those sweat shirts and drabby colors. Time for pastel colors, baby chicks and bunnies, spring flowers, for bare skin, sunburns and mosquito bites. So to me my bib card says that spring is coming!  What little boy wouldn't love this for his own Easter card or Birthday card? Or make it it pink or lavender or yellows for that special little girl!

This blog has a free PDF download of the patterns and a SVG file for cricut users!!

optional: embossing folder and Big Shot

Taking the 2"x2" square cut out the pattern for the top pocket. Then glue 3/8" strip across the top of the pocket. Trim off access.

I used maymay stamp Hare Peaking to stamp out the rabbits head, I fussy cut him pink insides of his ears. When I cut him out I cut out with a neck so he could be glued to the inside of the pocket and his whole head could be out. Glue him in the top pocket.

Fold the blue card stock in 1/2 to form a 4 1/4" x5 1/2" card. Lay the pattern piece on the card stock  keep the card stock folded, with the top of the straps on the fold trace the pattern out and then cut it out cutting both layers at the same time. If you choose to emboss, then emboss the overalls. Glue the 3/8 strip across the bottom of the pant legs. Trim off access

Take the 1 1/4" squares and Stamp with my refuge stamp set He will carry you.  Stamp the other pocket a cross from define emotions. Determine a point at the bottom to cut a pocket shape. Using the gel pen draw stitching lines around the pockets and the bibs and make a V shape in stitching lines for the end of the straps.(pattern included for the straps)

Glue on buttons and pop up pockets with dimensionals and place on the card.

Glue the white card stock to the inside and add your personal message.

What would be cuter than a spring dress card for your young daughter or granddaughter for Easter? If she's anything like my Anna she loves clothes and specially dresses that she can spin in. She was really excited when she saw this card.

Dress SVG

Download pattern for the dress and collar. Trace and cut out everything but the neck,  if you wait to cut out all neck edges together they will line up perfectly. Use the border punch on the bottom of the sleeves and bottom of the skirt. If using lace, glue lace so it's above the the bottom of the dress edge and sleeve edge. Glue the dress to the card stock making sure the edges of the dresses line up. Stamp some bunny loves you on the collar using rose red ink and center the collar over the dress (I used dimensionals) NOW using a 1 1/2” punch line it up so the top edge of the card is in the center of the punch and is in the middle of the collar and punch all layers together. I trimmed the bottom of the dress and the sleeves so they were just below the decorative edge.

Place bunnies in the pockets and glue and using dimensionals place bunnies and pockets on the dress.
