Paper Purse From One Sheet of 12 x 12

I have been all about the paper purses I've seen online lately and just has to try my hand.  I didn't want to have to use any special tools or anything to make it so that everyone could enjoy making them.  So, with one sheet of 12 x 12 and some trim pieces you can make a cutie patootie purse!

I have included this picture to help with the scoring, it was kinda hard to explain it in the video so this visual might help.

When scoring it is important to think about the orientation of the paper for the finished product.  You will want to place the paper in the scoreboard correctly.  The 1/2 inch score marks should run along what will be the top of the finished bag.

Supplies used when making this bag:

1-12 x 12 piece of cardstock (blue fern studios paper from www.scrapbookingwithme.com)

1-8 1/2 x 11 piece of cardstock

2-1/2 x 11 inch pieces for handles

2-1 x 11 inch pieces for trim, border punched
