Graduation Card with Gift Card holder by: Laura Wright

Today's card is a graduation card with a gift card slot inside. What better gift to give your graduate!

Supplies needed:

Black A2 size card base 5 1/2 * 4 1/4

Top design paper 2 1/4 * 5 1/4

Bottom design paper 1 3/4 * 5 1/4

Plain black ribbon is used in the middle between your design papers to cover the seem. Make sure to leave enough ribbon to wrap to the backside.

Sentiment-

Black base 1 1/4 * 2 3/4

White 1 * 2 1/2

Stamp the Congratulations sentiment from the Define Emotions stamp set on the white. Then pop the sentiment up using pop dots.

For the inside you'll need:

Black 1 1/4 * 4 1/4

White 1 * 4

Use the stamp set How Many and stamp out the year 2016 on your white.

When you glue the 2016 sentiment down only glue the sides and bottom leaving an opening at the top to slide the gift card down in. You can tie the black ribbon into a bow or knot.

The bottom side is where you need to add a piece of white cardstock (5 1/4 * 4) for your personal sentiment.

what a neat and manly, easy to do card. I can see it used for all kinds of card giving reasons. Thanks for posting it. I am new to card making, and this is one I feel I can do.
And not make a mess of it, by adding too much.
