Turkey Day Kids Silverware Holder



Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Which side of the turkey has the most feathers? What do turkeys drink out of? Give up??? What part of the turkey is the most musical?? Ok, Ok just one more...Why did the turkey cross the road?? To see the answers ya gotta read the entire blog post. 

Ok now back to the crafting portion of this post... Maymay created the cutest lil silverware place card holders for the kids table! She took a few scalloped circles and a few bits and pieces and BAM! A turkey is born!!! So gather up those supplies and let's create!

~~ Measurements~~

Utensil Holder Base:     Take a 12"x12" piece of cardstock and score it one one side at 7" and 10 1/2" then turn the paper to have the score lines going horizontal and then cut at 4"  One piece of 12"x12" will make 3 bases. 

Turkey Body/Feathers:     Cut 5 scalloped circles in decreasing in size. Our largest circle is 4 3/4" 

Eyes:     Punch out 2 white 1/2" circles from white cardstock 

Feet:     Punch out 2 small stars from yellow pattern paper

Beak:    cut 1 small triangle out of yellow pattern paper

Waddle:    punch out 1 red heart 

Name banner:    cut a piece of white cardstock to 1/2" x 3"
