The Sky is the Limit DT Project by Cindy Knust-Higgins

Hello everyone I’m just loving this Up up and away stamp set. Hot air balloons remind me of warmer weather and in central Illinois it’s been a long cold winter. All the sentiments in this set makes the possibilities endless. I just love making up lifting cards.

Supplies used:

Up, up and away stamp set
Distressed oxide- peacock feathers, tumbled glass, wilted violets, vintage photo, and mowed lawn
Versafine Black ink
Cloud die cuts
Cloud stencil
Tree stamp
Foam squares
Art glitter glue
Nuvo glitter pen
Cutter bee scissors
A2 Card base

To make this his card I first started by stamping my hot air ballon with wilted Violet and peacock feathers. I stamps the bows and strings with versafine ink. I then fussy cut my hot air ballon out.
Next I stenciled the clouds onto my background panel. Once I had the sky in I stamped the trees along the bottom of the panel. I then die cut out a few clouds and distressed them with tumble glass ink. I glued the larger cloud to my panel and then popped up my hot air ballon with foam squares. I used a thicker foam dot on one side of the small cloud and art glitter glue on the side over the hot air ballon.
For finishing touches I used my wilted Violet in around the edges of my card base and added my nuvo glitter pen to my clouds. I then glued my panel to my card base.
