IG DT project created by Maranda Mathis

Today, I am bringing you a Fall card. I had a lot of fun making this card using quilling paper strips from the Maymay Made It online store. I began with a card base cut at 4 and 1/4 by 5 and 1/2. Then, I made my paper quilled leaf out of quilling strips. I then added it to a background, added a stamp sentiment, sequins, and a bow made out of Baker's twine. -Maranda Supplies: MMI Heads & Tails Stamps Acrylic stamp blockBlack ink pad-VersafineGlue DotsGlue RunnerCardstockQuilling StripsQuilling toolFine tip glue applicatorGlue-Art Glitter GlueCutter Bee scissorsBaker's twineReverse tweezersSequins

IG DT Place Card Challenge created by Maranda Mathis

My project today is for the "Place Card" challenge. I began with 4x4" craft cardstock folded in half to form my Thanksgiving place cards. I used quilling strips and paper quilled a design on the front of each place card. I added the name and some bling, along with a cluster of pumpkins from the Maymay Made It stamp set called "Memory Lane". I finished off the top with some baker's twine. I hope you enjoyed today's project and give it a try yourself! -MarandaSupplies:Kraft cardstockPaper Quilling StripsQuilling ToolFine tip glue applicatorMMI Memory Lane Stamp set Memento Tuxedo Black InkUniball...

The last week of a month is usually Challenge week at Maymay Made It and this week’s challenge was to only use the colours Red, Blue and Yellow. This obviously meant that I couldn’t use even White card stock or Black ink, and since I use them in most of my cards, it was quite a challenge to come up with a card idea. But, I must say it was fun and I loved every bit of it. Challenges compel me to think out of the box and come up with ideas I probably wouldn’t attempt making otherwise, which is...
