Maymay Made It — fall greeting cards

I created this card using the Big Time Sayings Stamp Set by Maymay Made It and Fall Leaves Stamp Set by Joy Clair. First, I placed all the leaf stamps from the Fall Leaves Stamp Set by Joy Clair on my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform and inked them with different colours of Distress Inks (details in the supply list). For this weeks project, I made a card using the Fall Leaves Stamp Set by Joy Clair. I started by placing all the different leaf stamps on my Tim Holtz Stamp Platform. Then I ink them with Barn Door, Mustard seed and Ripe Persimmon Distress Inks, sprayed water on them using my Tim Holtz Distress Sprayer to help blend the colours. I then stamped them on an A2 watercolour card stock. After stamping the leaves, I splattered Black Soot and Vintage Photo Distress Inks. I used the Happy Fall Y'all Stamp Set to create this bright and cheerful card. I used The base of the wagon was perfect for creating a wooden flower box. I cut away the wheels to make a fun border across the top of the cards. I love when I have the opportunity to use stamps in a different way. I mounted the flowers to give them dimension. Other enhancements included using my Uniball Signo Gel Pens to decorate the outside borders of the cards and add stitching. The icing on the cake was adding a little dimension and color...

This card was created using the Fall Stitched Up Stamp Set. This adorable stamp set is great for creating lots of Fall Season Greeting Cards. I love the stitching around each of the Fall shapes. This would be a great set for gift tags and Thanksgiving Cards.  The Color Throwdown Challenge for this card was to use pink, brown and orange.
