Simple One Layer Card with Brenda's Botanicals DT Project by Joy D'Souza

For this week’s project, I made a clean and simple one layer card using one of my favorite stamp sets.

No photo description available.

First, I stamped the flower image from Brenda’s Botanicals Stamp Set using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. Then I stamped the image on a masking sheet, fussy cut it and stuck it on the image. After that, I masked the edges using masking tape and colored the panel using Spiced Marmalade, Ripe Persimmon and Twisted Citron Distress Inks along with a blending tool. I then sprinkled some water on the background and dabbed off the excess using a paper towel. Next, I unmasked the panel and colored the sunflower image using Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Twisted Citron, Lucky Clover, Vintage Photo and Ground Expresso Distress Inks. As a final step, I stamped the sentiment from the From All of Us Stamp Set using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink.
