Oven Cupcake/Cookie Treat Box Tutorial and Measurements
Posted by Amy Helms on
Recently, Stacy Ogden put a cute little oven box up on our facebook group called Maymay Made It and So Did I. Lots of you asked me to make one so I tried my hand at it and this is what I came up with. I had lots of fun doing it and I even made you a cricut cut file to make it even easier.
Have fun with it y'all!
12x12 Oven Measurements:
12x12 inch piece of cardstock scored at 4 and 8 inches, turn and score at 4 and 8 inches.
6x6 inch piece of cardstock for the door scored at 1 and 5 inches, turn and score at 1 and 5 inches.
5x 3 1/2 inch piece of cardstock for the back of the stove scored on the 5 inch side at 1/2 and 4 inches turn and score at 1/2, 1 1/2, 2 and 3 inches.
2x2 cardstock door window template
3 7/8 x 3 7/8 inch acetate
3 1/4 x 3 3/4 inch stove top base
1 x 1/4 inch "stove top display"
4- 1 1/4 inch circles for stove eye base
4-1 inch circles for stove eyes
4- 1/2 inch circles for stove knobs
6x6 Oven Measurements:
6x6 inch piece of cardstock scored at 2 and 4, turn and score at 2 and 4 inches.
3x3 inch piece of cardstock scored at 1/2 and 2 1/2, turn 1/2 and 2 1/2 inches.
2 1/2 x 1 3/4 inch piece of cardstock scored on the 1 3/4 side at 1/4, 3/4, 1, and 1 1/2 inches. Turn and score at 1/4 and 2 1/4 inch.
1 1/2 inch square for stove window
2 7/8 x 2 7/8 inch acetate for door.
Knobs and eyes are 1/2 circles.
To add the pull tab, I punched a 1/2 inch circle and folded it in half. Then glued it to the top of the stove door.
Cricut Files
PLEASE READ BEFORE OPENING IN CRICUT: I made these files while signed into my Cricut account, I say that because I think all the files are free for everyone but if you are seeing a charge when you go to make the project there may be an image that is not free. I do always try to use free images but the slice for the tab on the stove may be in a paid file.
Supplies used:
12x12 Assorted Color Cardstock
6x6 I Love Fall Paper Pad
1 inch punch
1 1/4 inch punch
Acetate
We R Memory Keepers Corner Rounder
