Mother's Day Card DT Project by Joy D'Souza

For this week’s project, I made a quick one layer card for Mother’s day.

First, I used the big solid flower stamp and stamped it with Barn Door Distress Oxide Ink. Then I used Aged Mahogany Distress Oxide Ink to stamp the details. Next, I masked this image and stamped the small flowers on both sides. For the first layer, I used Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink, and for the second I used Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink. I then stamped the leaves using Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks. For the details on the leaves, I used Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Ink. Then I unmasked the images and stamped the stamen using VersaFine Onyx Black and the pollen using Mustard Seed Distress Ink.

After that, I stamped the sentiment from the Garden Party Stamp Set using VersaFine Onyx Black Ink. As a final step, I applied Distress Glaze on the stamped image as it helps to pop the colors.
