Hi Everyone Happy Thursday To You!
Today we are making a super cute and easy K Cup holder.
I absolutely love this holder, and think it would be a great craft fair item!
Here's what you need:
Gray Cardstock: 1 @ 8.5 x 9
Score on 9 inch side at 2, 4.25, 6.25 and 8.5
Score on 8.5 inch side at 2 and 6.5
Gray Cardstock: 4.25 x 4.25
Gray Cardstock: 1.5 x 1.5
White Cardstock: 2 at 4.25 x 4.25
White Cardstock: 2 at 1.75 x 2
White Cardstock: 1.75 x 4.25
White Cardstock: 1.5 x 1.5
(plus scrap of white and gray)
Twine
Brown Ink
Here's the how to:
After all the scoring is done, crease all the score marks really well with a bone folder. Remove all 4 corners and cut on the side score marks to create flaps. On a scrap piece of cardstock, cut 2 circles using the 1.75 circle punch. This will be a template. Using a little glue, place these circles on the piece that is above the .5 inch flap. Once lined up, punch the circles out using the punch to create the holes in the holder.
On the (4.5 x 4.5) piece of gray and both (4.25 x 4.25) pieces of white, use the corner rounder on two of the corners. Set aside. Using the bean image from the stamp set, with brownish ink, stamp the bean all over the one (4.25 x 4.25) white, and the 2 (1.75 x 2) white and the (1.75 x 4.25) white.
Assemble the box by adhering the side flaps together. Adhere the white stamped images to the front and sides of the box. Adhere the (4.25 x 4.25) white pieces to the (4.5 x 4.5) gray. The white with the beans will be the front. Line up the box on this piece, and draw a tick mark on the stamped piece. Apply sticky tape to the bottom area to adhere to the box.
Stamp the "Let's share a cuppa cuppa" greeting the (1.25 x 1.25) white on an angle. Adhere this to the (1.5 x 1.5) gray.
Using a scrap of white cardstock, stamp image and cut out. On a scrap of gray cardstock, stamp the sleeve and cut it out. Adhere the sleeve to the cup and apply foam squares to the back then adhere to the holder. Final step, I used twine to wrap around the box, but you can also use ribbon.
Hope all of you have a Terrific Thursday. Hugs, Stacy ♥
