My neighbor and friend has taught Sunday School and VBS for about 60 developmentally disabled adults for about 10 or so years. The youngest of her “kids” is about 20 I believe and the oldest is 73. I learned how to make some light up cards and felt that the kids in her class would get a kick out of these light up crosses. You just press on the bottom of the cross and the yellow cross in the center lights up. I made some stickers for them to decorate the back of the card a little as well (they love to decorate things). Can’t wait so see their faces light up! LOTS of work (I made 60) but I had a BALL making them.

Christmas cards become my main focus beginning in about October.
I make as many as I can to send over for our deployed troops.
Last year was about 150 cards. I am so thankful for the men and woman who serve our country, too often giving all they can for we who reap the benefits of their service.

I made a patriotic flag card for the 4th of July and attached a American flag pin for our monthly family breakfast. I try to bring something every month since I am the only crafter.this is my craft for June.

some time ago I made a tatted polity and baby booties. I gave them to my niece, and shared diamond paintings with my great niece on 6/7/2019.
