“The Gift of Christmas” 12”x12”Wreath

Inspired by Maymay’s Paper Cone Rosette Ornament.

Supply List:

The Gift of Christmas Premium Paper Pad

Maymay’s Christmas Stitched  Shapes Stamp Set

- MMI Baubles and Bling Stamp Sets
Art GlitterGlue
• 2 Sheets Chipboard ( I used a large cereal box)
• Hot Glue
Memory Keepers Trim and Score Board
• Mint Rhinestones
• 1 Sheet of Craft Card Stock (for backing)
• 3 Easy Peasy Bows

Simple Instructions:
1.) Cut one 10”x10” with 3-1/2”x3-1/2” center circle chipboard circle with a 3-1/2” center circle and one 6-1/4”x6-1/4” with 3-1/2”x3-1/“ center circle for outer rosette trim.
2.)Cut 50 3-1/2” circles (I used a glass)
Form into paper cones (please search Maymay’s paper cone rosette ornament tutorial on YouTube for reference). Save 10 for second layer and evenly place around wreath.
3.) Cut 10”x10” craft card stock solid circle (for backing). (No hole)
4.)Cover 10”x10” wreath form with paper cones and glue 10”x10” solid craft circle to back of 10”x10”wreath form.
5.)Make 3-1/2”x3-1/2” rosette with a 2” punched or die-cut circle in center for inner recessed rosette. (Using 2” strips)Glue inside center front hole of 10”x10” wreath form.
6.) Cover 6-1/4”x6-1/4” wreath form with 2” rosette strips until covered and hot glue to center of larger wreath form.
7.) Make 3 easy peasy bows using 8”x1” strips (please search Maymay’s YouTube tutorial).Rhinestone centers are optional in this step.
8.) Stamp images and back with scotch foam tape. (Place as shown in photos).
9.) For hanging I punched a small hole in top back of wreath and looped a hair tie that matched.
This project was so much fun to make and inspired by Maymay’s paper cone rosette ornament. I hope you will give it a try and make it your own creative creation.
Happy crafting!
