I love making fun gift holders, I especially love when we can have one base and turn it into anything! This little guy has so many possibilites, I just did scarecrow today, I will let you know at least 5 other ways to use it too!
Project Info:
You will need One piece of 8.5 x 11 and two pieces 12x12 cardstock
Front and Back Pieces:
Start with one 8 1/2 x 11 inch piece of cardstock, put it in the scoreboard on the 8 1/2 inch side and score at 6 1/2.
Now cut this page in half on the 11 inch side at 5 1/2.
Hat: 2 pieces of cardstock cut to 3 x 5 1/2
Brim: 1 x 7 inch cardstock.
Patch: any size you would like for the hat
Hair: whatever size you want
Accordion inserts: cut one 6 x 12 inch piece of cardstock.
Score it on the 12 inch side at every one inch.
You will have 11 scores total, one inch from each other.
Now put in to the trimmer on the 6 inch side and cut in half at 3.
This will give you two pieces that are scored and measure 3 x 12 and will be your accordion pocket sides.
Accordion Pockets: cut 7 pieces of cardstock 3 x 5 1/4
