Christmas Gift Made In July An Altered Stationery Box

Posted by Amanda Ray on

I am in love with this paper pack and couldn't wait to play with it.  Seeing as it is Christmas in July I wanted to make a gift, as I do every year, for my mom.  I love to give her stationery sets.  I don't know if she loves getting them, but she gets one each year!

This is a fun and easy project with a big pay off.  So for part one, this is what I used:

Day by day paper

Unfinished Box

Art Glitter Glue

Stopper Topper

Scoreboard

Bone folder

White 12x12

The measures and score marks are here for you:

Dividers:

9.5 x 7.5 card stock

On the 9.5 inch side Score at 4 3/8, 5 1/4, 6 1/8

9 1/4 x 4 1/4,

Score in the 9 1/4 side 5 5/8, 6 1/2, 7 3/8

Tag Pocket

5 1/2 x 4 1/4

Score on the 5.5 side at .5, 1 1/8, 4 3/8, 5

Turn 3, 3 5/8

Envelope pocket

6 3/4 x 4 1/4

On the 6 3/4 side score at .5, 1 1/8, 5 5/8, 6 1/8

Date Book

(2) 7 1/4 x 12

Score on the 7 1/4 side at 3 3/8, 6 3/4, 10 1/8

Cut away the last small piece on one sheet.

My cards will be A2 (4 1/4 by 5 1/2) and my tags are 3 x 4.  So far I have 15 envelopes in the box and 20 tags, that may change after I decorate.  Based on space available in the box.

I hope you enjoy this project and look forward to part two on Tuesday!
