Bunny Basket Paper Plate Style Tutuorial

Hey guys, are you looking for a last minute Easter Bunny Basket?  We have an easy peasy basket for you today! This is a fabulous last minute project for the all those Easter goodies that the Easter Bunny will be leaving for the kiddos.  So gather up those supplies and a dinner plate ( yep a dinner plate! ) and let's create. 

Supplies used: 

10 1/2" dinner plate 

Neenah Cardstock

Cricut Trimmer

Standard Scoreboard 

Stylus Embossing tool

Bone folder

Art Glitter Glue

TH shears

Border punches or decorative scissors

Circle punches or die

Oval punches or dies

one cotton ball ( for bunny tail)

 

Measurements: 

Bunny Basket Base: 

~1 piece of 12x12 white cardstock. Score at 4" and 8" and then turn one turn and score at 3" and 9". Take the 10 1/2" dinner plate and center it on the cardstock, then trace. Cut out the circle. See the video for the cut lines instructions and assembly of the base.

Handle: 

~ 2 pieces of cardstock cut to 12" x 1 1/2"

Eyes: 

~ 2 white circles that are 1" in diameter

~ 2 black circles that are 3/8" in diameter

Cheeks/face:

~ 2 ovals that are 2 3/8" in diameter

~1 small heart ( nose)

~ whiskers are  6 thin strips cut from black cardstock 

~teeth are a small circle with a slight cut in the middle
