Pocket Card Tutorial and Guest Design Project for Scrapbookingwithme.com
Posted by Amy Helms on
Hi guys!
I was so happy when Edith asked me to guest design for her this month. If you don't know Edith, she is the owner of www.scrapbookingwithme.com and I love her! She is a good ole' Alabama girl like me!
So Edith sent me the May kit from her store, she offers a kit each month that you can be a part of! Head over and grab what's left of this May kit and get set for the future months.
The card I am making in this video today is inspired by a card I received for my Birthday from Jamie Slater. She did an awesome job on her card and you guys chose this one for me to make on my Periscope yesterday.
I use the products from the May kit and some from my stash. I hope you enjoy the card video and if you make one I would love to see it! Maybe you can share it on our facebook group called Maymay Made It and So Did I.
The measurements for the card project are here:
Card Base 8 x 5 1/2 inches
Score at 1 1/4 and 3 3/4 inches
Inside mat 2 1/2 x 5 1/4 inches
Outside mat 2 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches

I loved this card! I used the basic idea to make Father’s Day cards for my 3 sons and husband but I matted photos of each ones child/children. I really was proud of how they turned out. Thanks for being so great!
Nancy, sorry scroll down after video is watched. Sorry.
Nancy, scroll all the way down on maymays blog and you’ll see the link.
Do you get the thinlette in all kits? The kit you showed (may, I think) showed some.
Maymay, thanks so much for this card idea. I am using my fuse tool and making a shaker tag, to go in the pocket, which will also be a luggage tag.
