2 4 6 8 Box

Hi Everyone Happy Wednesday To You!

Today we are making a super easy box that is also cute!

This box is perfect to hold treats, trinkets, toys, and also great for class parties.

Here is what you need:

Cardstock

Red Cardstock: 8.5 x 5.5 and 1 @ 1.5 x 2
Score at 2 inches on the 5.5 side
Score at 2, 4, 6, and 8 on the 8.5 side

White Cardstock: 2 @ 1.75 x 3.25 and 1 @ 1.25 x 1.75

Trimmer or Scoring Board

Sweet Stuff Stamp Set

Art Glitter Glue

Black Ink

Red Ink (or ink to match cardstock)

Bone Folder

Foam Squares

Colored Pencils

Odorless Mineral Spirits (optional)

Blending Stumps (optional)

Here is the how to:

Using a bone folder, crease all score marks. Remove the smaller bottom corner on .5 inch side. Cut on all the score marks on the 2 inch side ONLY up to score mark. (see diagram below)

Put glue on small flap of box and fold over to assemble box. Tuck 3 bottom sides down and place glue on the last side to close the bottom of the box.

Stamp the 3 smaller candies from the stamp set with black ink all over both of the (1.75 x 3.25) white pieces. Color the shapes in. (I used colored pencils with a blending stump and odorless mineral spirits), you can use just pencils or markers. Glue these pieces to the front and back of the box.

Stamp the "You make life sweet" with red ink on the (1.25 x 1.75) white piece. Glue the (1.5 x 2) red to the front of the box, and use foam squares to attach the greeting to the red. Push in on the sides of the box to close. I used a binder clip for the closure, you can also use a clothespin, or punch holes at the top for ribbon.

I hope all of you have a Wonderful Wednesday. Hugs, Stacy ♥
