This is a class offered at Maymay's Made It Con in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Friday Sept. 14 @ 3:30pm
Taught by Amy Broady Certified Zentangle Teacher™

Zen Gems are rendered illusions that can add a brilliant pop of color to Zentangle® Inspired Art (ZIA). Colored pencil hues are carefully selected and skillfully layered to achieve the look of a brilliant, smooth stone. Tangled “settings” surround Zen Gems to provide an ornate background. Certified Zentangle Teacher™ Amy Broady will demonstrate drawing gems for half of the session, and tangling detailed settings for the other half. Use the materials provided to draw/color along with her and practice your gem technique. You could also bring your favorite colored pencils, if you have a set you love.

Zen Gems came about a few years ago, and the trend is still growing as more and more ZIA artists learn to draw them. Put your colored pencils to work and learn how to draw Zen Gems!

All supplies included but you may want to bring your favorite pens and colored pencils..

Duration of the class is 2 hours.

Due to the nature of this class, (teachers time, travel, and supplies being pre-purchased) ticket price is non refundable.
