Christmas In July "JOY" Card

     Hello Crafter's and welcome to my latest blog post, in today's video I create a 5x7 card with a hint of sparkle, the card base itself to start off with was 10x7 from the I create a 5x7 card base, the insert I use and stamp the "JOY" on is 1/16 of an inch smaller than my base, the vellum I use was 4x9" the extra length allows me to tuck it behind the base and glue it down. Snowflake Vellum Shaker Card

As part of our Christmas in July background challenge, I was inspired by a recent video by Maymay, where she stamped and then colored on the back of vellum. This mutes the colors and gives a stained glass affect. I also wanted to create a shaker card, but adhesive is so difficult to hide when working with vellum, hence the sewing. Buggy Card featuring heat embossing and coloring on vellum

    Today Maymay makes an adorable card using our newest stamp set Buggy Love.
