This card was totally inspired by Maymay’s door panel in her Fall Album. When I saw her make her fall door I thought it would make a great Christmas Card. I decided to have only four panels on my door and I scored the inside panels to make my door look a little fancy. I also popped up my inside panels to add dimension. I used my hole punch with silver mirrored paper to create my door knob. I embellished my door with a wreath and tree from the Echo Park chipboard from Celebrate Christmas collection. Today's card is for the Maymay Made It design team challenge... and it's all about shaker cards!! I began with a 4.25 x 5.5" card base. I made a smaller striped panel using masking tape and Distress Ink. I die cut a circle in the striped panel. For my shaker window, I used a clear overhead projector transparency sheet and adhered it on the backside of the panel. Then, I sealed around the shaker window with foam tape to pop it up.   Traditions are always a wonderful thing and today we are making a beautiful Christmas ornament that will surely be one that you hand down thru the generations. It looks so complicated but Maymay makes it so easy to create.
