Star of Wonder by Crystal Cleveland

Here's a cute little card I made for a card swap. It's pretty easy.

Materials needed:

Very vanilla card stock

Night of Navy card stock

Brushstrokes stamp

Real Red card stock

Star Dies

Label punch

embossing folder

gold cord

large button

glue dots

foam squares

versa mark ink

gold embossing powder

white gel pen

black gel pen

black ink

maymaymadeit stamp set -All Is Bright

Art Glitter Glue

Directions:

Very Vanilla card stock 5.5" x8.5" scored at 4.25" for the base

Very vanilla card stock 3.75"x5" stamped with real red ink using the brush strokes stamp. Emboss the stripped paper.

Night of Navy card stock 4"x 5.25"  using a star die cut out a star from the top left side of the blue card stock, making sure you leave a minimum of 1/4 " border of the card stock.  Draw stitches around the star. Add a large button and add a gold cord double bow with glue dots. Using a label punch, punch out a label leaving the 1/4" border. Heat Emboss the blue label with a sentiment and gold embossing powder. Draw white  stitches around the label.

Now glue the stripped paper to the blue card stock and glue to the vanilla card stock.

Place the star in the top left corner with foam squares.

On the right lower side of your card punch out using the same label punch leaving a 3/4" border on both sides. Punching only the front of the card.

Fold the card and place the blue label on the inside of the card lining up with the front of the card.

Using real red card stock and black ink stamp Star of Wonder from maymaymadeit stamp set -All is Bright. Using a black gel pen draw a border around the sentiment and the add stitches. Fussy cut out and glue to the inside of the card.
