Praying For You

Wow! Can you believe it's August already? Time is flying...

Time is also fleeting... I always realize that when I have to make

a Sympathy card. Made this one with Maymay's Feathers stamp set.

It's on an A2 size card base. I stamped the feathers in Distress ink and

took a black Micron pen and edged the feathers in black. I stamped

the Dove on some gray cardstock and placed it up on foam squares. I

stamped two of the sentiments found in the stamp set. I also used a

sentiment from Jesus Loves You stamp set.

I matted the focal on some black cardstock and then tied some black

twine around it and tied a bow. I used Art Glitter Glue to attach all

the elements to the card base.

A simple card but I hope it conveys my feelings to the recipient.

Nothing says peace and comfort quiet like a dove.

I hate making sympathy cards because someone is going thru a hard time but at the same time sympathy cards are the most beautiful cards. Love your card and the sentiments are PERFECT!!! Thanks for sharing

This card is so beautiful. When my mom died 16 years ago, I found such comfort in reading the sympathy cards sent to our family, and I saved all of them. My sister and Father did not seem to care for them, but I really loved getting them, especially if there was a verse of comfort.
