Post It Note Holder Tutorial

Look at this fun lil post-it note holder! Today we show you how easy these are to make! How perfect would these be for stocking stuffers, craft fairs, and teachers? The possibilities are endless! So gather up those supplies and let's create!

Measurements:

Base: This will give you 3 post-it note holders. We used the standard size post-it notes

Start with an 8.5 x 11 " piece of cardstock. On the 11" side cut into 3.5 x 8.5"  strips. On the 8 1/2" side score at  3 1/2, 4 and 4 1/2 inches. Fold the middle score line and crease it well, now we are going to create the pen holder section

Pen Holder Section:

On the center score line measure down from the top 1 1/8" and measure up from the bottom 1 1/8" on the scoreline that is not folded ( see pics and the video)

Next, take your snips and from the edge cut to the scoreline, but don't cut the scoreline. Now fold all your score lines.

Then push in the sides of the cut area to create the pen holder section. See the photos and video.

These measurements are based on the pens we used in the video. you will find links for those in the supply list.  Now you are ready to decorate!

Cover Mats:

1 piece of patterned paper cut to 3 1/4 x 3 1/4"

1 piece of patterned paper cut to 1 1/2 x 3 1/4"

We used stickers from the paper collection to decorate the cover.
