Holiday Place Cards and a Contest

 

 

Heys guys look at these adorable place cards! Your holiday table will be festive and fun with these interactive place cards! We have included a free PDF for the conversation starter questions and the leaf designs! Plus a contest. Measurements: 

Place Card Base~

~1 piece of brown cardstock ( we used BM Macchiato) cut to 4 x4 " Then score at 2" and fold in half. 

~1 piece of orange cardstock ( we used BM Jack-o-lantern) cut to 3 3/4 x 1 3/4" for the mat

~1 piece of white paper cut to 3 1/2 x 1 1/2" with the conversation question printed on it. 

Layer the question piece to the orange mat and then glue to the backside of the place card

Name section of place card: 

~ 1 piece of orange cardstock cut to 3 3/4 x 1 3/4" for  the mat 

~1 piece of tan cardstock ( we used BM lunch bag) cut to 3 1/2 x 1 1/2"  Stamp the name to this and add a decorative image. GLue this to the orange mat and then add to the place card. Decorate as desired. We used the new stamp set Thankful Thoughts images and fussy cut them after coloring. 

Orange slice pumpkins: 

Take a plastic cup and line it with Saran wrap, place the orange slices in the cup in a circular fashion. Remove the wrapped candy from the cup and tighten down the plastic to formed pumpkin shape. To seal use floral tape and wrap around the top to form the stem, add a chenille stem to form the curly vine an attached to the top of the candy pumpkin. Attach the conversation leaf and a leaf with the stamped name. (see video)
