IG DT project "Scrap Buster Challenge" created by Cindy Higgins

Stash Buster project

I made these fun and easy tea packet favors as little Christmas gifts for co-workers.

These tea packet favors are a great way to use up all those great patterned papers, die cuts, and ribbon. I love getting all the latest patterned papers but never seem to use them all. Each tea packet is made with a 6x6 patterned paper making these come together quickly. I embellished these packets with images I had stamped and colored throughout the season but didn’t use on my projects. I used my hole punch to punch a hole in the top of packets adding some ribbon from my stash that I’ve had for years.

Crop-a-dial Hole Punch

scraps, ribbon, embellishments, etc.

Directions:

-First I took a 6 x 6 piece of patterned paper and folded it in half. Then I scored it at 1/4 inch

-Then you will need to turn paper and score it at 2 3/4

-Then flip it over to score on the other side again at 2 3/4

-When you open it up it should look like this

-Then you will need to fold on the 2 3/4 score lines

-Then I folded on the 1/4 score line

-Do this one the front and back

-This will allow the bottom to look like a tea bag

-Then I punched a hole in top for my ribbon

-Add ribbon, embellishments, and tea
