IG DT Project Created by Candace Gillespie

I LOVE a good Christmas tag!

Supplies Used:

- MMI Stamp Set, “Christmas Instawreath”

- MMI Stamp Set, “Ornamental Greetings”
- Distress Ink in: Mowed Lawn, kit #2

                            Walnut Stain, kit #3

                             Barn Door kit #5
- Versafine Black Onyx Ink
- Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
- Nuvo Glue Pen
- Nuvo Gilding Flakes in Gold
- Crop-a-Dial
- Red Bakers Twine
- COPIC Markers in: 100, R59, R46, R24
- Tonic Studi Tim Holtz Stamp Platform (stamping tool similar to the MISTI)

Process:

I started by placing the plain ornament stamp from MMI’s stamp set, Ornamental Greetings” into my Stamp Platform and inked it up in Momento Tuxedo Black Ink and stamped out six ornaments.
Once they were all stamped, I aligned the different wreath elements from MMI’s stamp set, Christmas Instawreath, and stamped using the various Distress Inks mentioned above. Once it was all inked up, I stamped the center in Versafine Black Onyx Ink. Next, I colored the bow using my COPIC alcohol markers as well as adding some dimension to the berries. The final step before fussy cutting them out was to add Nuvo Glue Pen in areas I wanted to add the Gold Nuvo Gilding Flakes. Finally, after fussy cutting out each ornament, I hole punched the top with my Crop-a-Dile and added bakers twine.

There you have it. I hope you give these adorable tags a try! Thanks for stopping by the Maymay Made It blog! Happy crafting!

Inky hugs,
Candace Gillespie
