IG DT "New Release" Project Created by Tracy Dennis
A Stand Up Letter Board Card
I know you are going to want this New Stamp Set Called "Letter Board Love". The possibilities are endless!!  For this card I wanted it to stand up but I didn't want an easel card. So at at 2am my brain was on overload. I researched on Youtube a bit but I really couldn't find what I wanted. So, I HAD to do M-A-T-H!!
The board itself measures 3 3/4" X 5". So to construct the card Base you need two pieces  1- 3 3/4" X 11"
                    2-3 3/4"  X  2". I did this on Grey cardstock 8 1/2" X 11"
Them Score Pc 1- at 1/2" on both ends and 51/2" at the center.
                    Pc 2- at 1"
( I did it this way so I didn't have to use a 12X12 piece of cardstock)
Next, I stamped the board in Black Ink on the front just about the 1/2" score line.
I also stamped the board with black onto scrap white cardstock 3 times, and also stamped one with Distress Oxide Ink. I fussy cut the Frame ONLY with all 4 pieces, then I stacked and glued them together with the brown one on top. I also inked all the edges to make it more realistic.
BEFORE attacking the frame I stamped the letters with Versamark and heat embossed with white powder. THEN I glued on the frame.
To finish up the A-frame base, I creased both the 1/2" seams inward  and creased the 2" piece at the 1" score line. White this piece was still creased I clued it into place by running glue along the 1/2" seams. Then sandwiched them all together and pressed for a few seconds for the glue to dry. ( Basically, the 2" piece fit right underneath the 1/2" seams creating the flat bottom).
Supply List:
This Card can easily fold flat and put into an envelope and the recipient will enjoy your message on a deck for a long time. Hope you have so much fun with this New Stamp Set and I know  your "Not Gonna Stress About It"!!!!!
