IG DT "Layout Challenge" Project Created by Candace Gillespie

What a fun challenge!

Here is the list of supplies I used:

- MMI Stamp Set Ornamental Greetings

- MMI Happy Tree Stamp Set
- We R Memory Keepers Word Punch Board
- COPIC Alcohol Markers In: 100, R24, R46, R59 R89, YR04, YR07, YR18
- Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
- Versafine Black Onyx Ink
- Crop-A-Dile

- Foam Tape
- Red, Black And White Cardstock
- Art Glitter Glue
- White Gelly Roll Gel Pen
- Black Fine Tip Sharpie Marker

Process:

First I stamped out the main ornament from Maymay’s stamp set called, Ornamental Greetings using Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored it in using the above mentioned colors of COPIC markers, then fussy cut it out.

For the carrot nose I simply sketched a silly shaped triangle with my sharpie fine tip marker and colored it in and fussy cut it out.

For the mouth I punched out some “coal” using the smaller hole on my Crop-A-Dile and glued them down using the fine tip on Art Glitter Glue. SO helpful!

The paper strip measure 5/8 inch by 5-1/2 inches. To get the letters closer together I simply flipped the punch upside down and looked at how far each letter was being punched apart from the other. I used the negatives to spell out the words below the snow lady.

The snow lady got stuck down using foam tape then the strip was glued down to the card panel.

To finish off the Ornamental snow man lady card I drew in some stitches lines.

That was a pretty quick summary of the process. I hope it got your wheels turning as this challenge did mine! And thanks for stopping by the Maymay Made It blog! Happy crafting crafty friends!

Inky hugs,
Candace Gillespie
