Gift Bag Tea Light by Crystal Cleveland

I get in a rut and work with the same stamp set for several projects. that's just how I work. So any way here's another fall project that's cute and easy to make.

For this project you'll need  the following:

gift bag punch board

Pumpkin Pie card stock 6" x 10"

Maymay's stamp set Pumpkin Head

Maymay"s stamp set Bushel and a Peck

designer paper 1 1/2" x 2 1/4"

hole punch

scrap piece of vellum

Stazon Ink

scraps of Black card stock

White craft ink pad

Piece of ribbon, lace, jute or raffia to tie through the bag and make a bow

glue dots

foam dots

Make a small gift bag according to the instructions on the gift bag punch board. Before you glue the bag together,  stamp a pumpkin on the front of the bag. Leaving enough room for the bag to fold down. Cut the pumpkin out leaving the black line. Filling in if necessary. I did and made a mistake so stamped some leaves to look like vines growing from the pumpkin.

Stamp the pumpkin on the vellum with the black stazon ink. Stamp a face too. Then attach the vellum under the cut out pumpkin with glue dots. Glue dots keeps it from shifting.

Now glue the bag together and fold over the top and glue the designer paper across the flap. Place the battery tea light inside. Fold the flap over again and punch 2 holes through the bag and the flap.  Run your ribbon or jute or lace through the holes and tie a bow.

Stamp the sentiments Fall and Harvest on the black card stock with the white craft ink. Cut out the sentiments and attach to the bag with pop dots.

If you want you could forget the tea light and just put a bag of treats inside.
