Flowers for Mom Card

Hey, my crafty friends! It seems as if it has been forever since I last spoke to y’all. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day.

Today we will be creating a quite simple card. I have really been into water coloring lately and try to incorporate it in most of my cards. This particular stamp set just screamed watercolor to me.

I started with a Canson watercolor paper (I cut this to be a mat piece with 1/8 on an inch border around.) With this card, I played, after all, that's why we craft right? To be less stressed and more relaxed. I began by stamping the corner flower bunches in all four corners. I also stamped the vertical decorative piece on the sides. I stamped all the images using Versafine Onyx Black since I knew I would be water coloring.

I really let myself let loose and scribbled Aqua markers onto a stamp block, got my Nuvo water brush and scribbled that color onto my stamped flowers. I did the same for the leaves. I then stamped my sentiment using a gorgeous red from Versafine Clair Ink line. I added some enamel dots and put the whole card panel onto an a2 size card base. That's how simple card making can be! Until next time, have a wonderful day!!!
